STILL PRIMITIVE, our commemorative 100th-release compilation LP, is now available for pre-order, with release set for February 6th. Limited edition of 500 copies _ 300 on black and 200 on pink vinyl. Only around 400 will reach the general public, so if you want one, now's the time. We've been quietly working with 16 bands from across the globe on a tribute to THE BEST OF PEBBLES VOL. 1: Get Primitive, the 1985 landmark packed with some of the finest tracks from Greg Shaw's PEBBLES series. For many of us, that LP opened the door to the world of 60s garage rock. Almost since Chaputa!'s beginnings we've wanted to revisit it _ same tracklist, artwork updated by Rui Ricardo from the original Rudi Protrudi drawing _ and the moment finally felt right. A long-held wish turned into a record, and we hope your needle hitting the groove brings you the same buzz it gave us. To keep the experience as fresh as possible, we won't be previewing any tracks on radio, blogs or press. The first spin is meant to be the moment. So shut the door, switch off the phone, clear the distractions and sink into STILL PRIMITIVE.
