Sludgeworth
"Sludgeworth came from the Chicago underground scene of the 1980s that was de nedby legendary names like Raygun, Albini, and Ministry. Genre lines were blurred andbands took more chances because there was nothing to lose. They released music withLookout Records, but other projects surfaced and Sludgeworth went dormant fordecades until calls for a reunion and Riot Fest came along. The band got their overdueday in the sun, but had so much fun with their victory lap that they decided to trysomething new: not break up! They would meet up frequently in a Chicago practicespace for beers and laughs and ri s. ""Second Time Around"" is the result of thatfriendship and creative process, and it sounds like it could be from 1989 or 2029.Sludgeworth has already immortalized themselves as paragons of the Midwestunderground, and this new 12-song LP is another chapter for the history books. Theydid go 30+ years between albums, and that's gotta be some kinda record, right?!"
