Billy Price's new album Random Madness, produced by Grammy award-winning producer and drummer Tony Braunagel, contains 11 new songs co-written by Billy Price and with Billy Price Band keyboard player Jim Britton. Billy Price's most recent album, 2024's Person of Interest, was nominated by the Blues Foundation for four 2025 Blues Music Awards, including Album of the Year. Random Madness was recorded at The Vault recording studio in Pittsburgh by world-class engineer Jimmy Hoyson. Tony played drums on several of the tracks, and guests include Steve Delach on guitar, acclaimed jazz trombonist Reggie Watkins, and the gospel-inflected BGVs, AKA Background Vocals. The title song, "Random Madness," features a guest appearance by trumpet great Sean Jones, currently the chair of the jazz studies department of the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
