A prominent house show venue on the edge of town. 4 broke nihilistic kids decided to break up the band that had consumed their spare time between recycling cans and random odd jobs. One last practice just for fun. Something happened in that practice that changed everything. The band had fun. That attitude about everything else going on in life was applied to the music. Frustration, hopelessness, anger and grief. Take all that and mix it with upbeat (almost goofy) songwriting. This was the moment that changed the course of not only the band, but every member's life. Hospitals was born that day. An EP written mostly in a night that would later send the band on tour world wide. Grab the attention of some of the biggest players in independent music. 20 years later, after almost every bridge burned in the "big punk" industry (intentionally) the band is somehow still alive and doing the exact same thing as in 2006. Just a little better. Slightly happier, but still angry. This pressing is a celebration of surviving everything.
